Bird Watching Village Pottery

From August 2015 till February 2016, weekend activities are planned at the Ajmer bungalow exclusively for our guests.

Bird Watching

Ajmer is surrounded by the Aravalli hills; and as a result, it has been a bird-watchers haven. Three trails are in store for you this season:

Anasagar:

A very old manmade lake in Ajmer, Anasagar is a nesting ground for all the birds that come down in the winters to feed and breed. Besides water birds, there are a host of other birds to be found

Earlier, the   Great Indian Bustard too could be found in plentiful here, though last year only two pairs were reported and Yashwant Bhinai, your guide, managed to spot only one male. Apart from the lesser florican, you will be able to see around 82 species of birds.
