WEATHER

October to November and February to March are very pleasant; December to January is a little cold but as the sun keeps you company, it’s no hardship. This is, undoubtedly, the best time to visit Ajmer.

April to June is hot, the monsoon sets in by July and it continues to be wet and sultry till September.

WARDROBE

If you are here in winter a jersey and a light coat should be enough to keep you warm most days, though you may need something heavier for the evenings. In summer and monsoon light cottons are ideal.

Please keep in mind that when visiting any of the religious sites it is necessary to be “modestly" dressed – men should be covered from below the shoulder to below the knee, women from wrist to ankle.
